Many hours were spent on the road this may be the only time we weren't all napping in the car.^

We went to the Getty Museum on Saturday night and it was so incredible! I loved analyzing and interpreting the art, pretending like I knew what I was talking about.. maybe I did. We went to a cute little Sushi place afterwards.... Race and I will never be Sushi connoisseurs to say the least. Saturday afternoon we were also able to attend Cheyenne's baptism, it was such an incredible experience. It was humbling and I was reminded how truly blessed I am to have the gospel in my life and to be living it.

Santa Monica!

Friday evening we ventured to Santa Monica! It was kind of surreal. I loved it there though. We went shopping on the Third Street Promenade and ate at Johnny Rockets it was delicious and so much fun! and I again absolutely loved it there.
We are so cool. Spent way too long on this picture, but man it's the greatest. (below)
I fell in love with California on this trip. It is such a gorgeous, scenic, warm, perfect place. What I wouldn't do to live there someday. I had an incredible trip. I am grateful for the experiences I had and for the friendships I made. Most importantly I am grateful for the opportunity I had to go especially given the circumstances, I believe it was inspired. I needed it badly. I grew.
