The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;
-Alexander Pope, "Eloisa to Abelard"
a beautful poem.
an incredible movie was inspired by this poem
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

"which do you prefer to be?"
This is the most interesting movie I have seen in a while.
In this movie memories, namely bad ones, could be erased.
What a world of confusion, and loss. To know and love, to feel and remember, to know.
And then to not.
What a world, to have a spotless mind, constant sunshine of course. Not having to cope or overcome to feel or to be aware. To painlessly erase. a brief moment of impulse, wishing this. then to realize, quickly. hiding memories, anywhere. everywhere. I don't really want to lose them. I was hurt. Don't leave me. Don't let me forget. Don't let it be gone. one day deja vu presents itself. however, you HAVE lived this before, you simply don't remember. Don't let this beauty pass, find your way back to me, in my memory. For you, I simply wish not to forget. I would not be who I am today, without the influence that you were to me. Who am I then? to simply erase you from me, what would that leave me then?
dont go.
